This time I have the Hot Toys MMS387 1/6 scale Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange 12 (19459006] HIER ), Hot Toys MMS352 Terminator Genisys 1 / 6th scale Endoskeleton 33 cm high Collector's items, which was still further presented in February 2016 HERE and Supermad Toys 1: 6 Scale Agent Salt (Angelina Jolie) 12-inch action figure (Preview pics HERE
Mostly take pre-order a while to be freed, and we really lose when they're going to come. It's a nice surprise when they finally arrive. Better late than never, as the saying goes. I enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch's representation of Doctor Strange and am glad to be able to own a 12 inch cumberpatch figure as I am a fan of his work – Sherlock Holmes, The Imitation Game, Star Trek Into Darkness etc. And it seems Hot Toys as well because this figure comes with a bit of accessories, compared to Hot Toys MMS363 Captain America: Civil War 1/6 scale Black Panther Collectible figure that had ZERO accessories (see my review HERE ). Owning 1/6 scale is like a mini-Hollywood in your home, with all the famous stars / actors lining your shelves.

The Doctor Strange packaging is not your usual box design. The usual boxes are either a shoe box design where there is a cover that you can remove before you can get inside the figure, or there is a slipcover that you can push out to show the figure in a window box. The front of the package has a smaller square card that rotates you counterclockwise to unlock a catch that allows you to open the flaps to reveal the contents inside.
There was a time when Hot Toys produced some rather creative boxes. Examples that come to mind are: Hot Toys MMS80 (Movie Masterpiece Series) Collector's Edition # 6 Scale Iron Man Mark I (Pictures HERE ), Hot Toys MMS95 Terminator Salvation John Connor Figur (pics HERE ) and Hot Toys MMS82 Movie Masterpiece Series 1/6 scale Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands fully representable action figure (checked HERE ). Hot Toys is striving to have beautifully designed packaging boxes that make it very difficult to throw them away. Take a look at some of the boxes displayed in a post
      [HISTORY]
Packaging is the shoe box design.
As you can see, not so many accessories.
As you can see, not so many accessories. It is interesting to note that this is not made as a die-casting. This is most likely because a die-casting figure is so high that the thin legs would not be able to carry their own weight, and the figure will simply tip over. I have an Aoshima die-cast T-800 endoskeleton and it must have braces on the back of the figure to provide stability when posing due to the extremely heavy body. See hte pics HIER
Full action figure reviews will follow shortly. Stay tuned 🙂
