I AM THE RIGHT
Dredd is a 2012 science fiction action film directed by Pete Travis and written and produced by Alex Garland. It is based on the 2000-year-old com comic judge Dredd and his eponymous character, created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. Karl Urban plays as judge Dredd, a law enforcer who has given the power of the judge, the jury and the executioner in a huge, dystopian metropolis named Mega-City One, located in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Dredd and his apprentice partner, Judge Anderson (Olivia Thirlby), are forced to move into a 200-storey high-rise of apartments and deal with the resident drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey).
Olivia Thirlby portrays judge Cassandra Anderson: A rookie judge and genetic mutant with powerful psychic abilities. Anderson can feel the thoughts and emotions of others. Thirlby compiled her character with Dredd's "black-and-white" perspective and described Anderson as existing "in a gray area where everything is amplified or clouded by the fact [that] she knows what is going on inside a person." She undertook weapons and fought workouts and learned to make a roundhouse kick to make them believable physically. The character was partly inspired by singer Debbie Harry
This is the recently released VTS VM-013 1/6th scale New Epoch Cop female action figure inspired by Olivia Thirlby's Judge Anderson character from 2012 Dredd movie . The figure is very beautiful with amazing details and quality finishing.
The crate is quite undistorted and lacks captivating graphics or images. I think it should be so because VTS (which everyone knows is the film branch of the Dam Toys) does not want attention to the box packaging with the figure being directed. Collectors know who New Epoch Cop is based on ("I am the law" is a very good reference / hint) and since it is not licensed, better not to draw attention to it. The figure is contained in the main compartment with all its accessories, which are stored in another tray at the bottom.
Quite a pretty accessory and all go to their obligatory belts (mostly). I was a bit disappointed by the Heckler & Koch MP5A3. Towards the end of the film, Judge Cassandra Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) uses a Heckler & Koch MP5A3. The weapon is not even brought to look futuristic and will be as it is.
